The Highlights
Old Town & Golden Roof
The heart of Innsbruck. The world-famous Golden Roof, with its 2,738 fire-gilded copper shingles, is the city’s landmark and is only about a ten-minute walk from our apartments. Historic facades, narrow alleys, and cozy cafés line the streets around the Old Town.
Imperial Hofburg & Hofgarten
The magnificent residence of the Habsburgs invites you on a journey back in time through imperial history. The adjacent Hofgarten offers a green oasis in the heart of the city—perfect for a peaceful stroll.
City Tower
After climbing 133 steps, you’ll be rewarded with a unique panoramic view of Innsbruck’s Old Town and the surrounding mountains. A must-see for every visitor to Innsbruck.
Bergisel Ski Jump
Designed by Zaha Hadid, the ski jump is not only an architectural highlight but also offers one of the most beautiful views of the entire city from the café at the top.
Nordkette & Hungerburgbahn
The modern Hungerburgbahn takes you directly from the city center up to over 2,000 meters. At the top, a panorama awaits that will leave you speechless—in summer and winter alike.
Ambras Castle
A little outside the city, but definitely worth a visit: Ambras Castle with its idyllic Renaissance garden and one of Austria’s most significant art collections.
Grassmayr Bell Foundry & Wilten Basilica
Hidden away in the Wilten district is the Grassmayr Bell Foundry, one of the oldest family-owned businesses in Europe. The Baroque Wilten Basilica and the Triumphal Arch round out the visit.
